BLIND RIVER, ON – The Blind River Beavers Noah Tegelaar made 27 saves to lead the Beavers to a 5-0 home win over the visiting Greater Sudbury Cubs in NOJHL action at the Blind River Community Centre on Saturday night.

After a scoreless opening period, the Beavers Jesse Dupuis and Evan Fraccaro scored power play markers less than 30 seconds apart to get the Beavers rolling.

Dupuis put home a rebound home off a shot from Michael Gallagher on a 5 on 3 power play which made it 1-0.

Still on a 5 on 4 power play, Fracarro scored on a big rebound off the pads of Noah Metivier for a 2-0 lead at 6:41 of the second.

The home team increased the lead just over 3 minutes into the third, as Josh Thompson took a quick shot through a screen that beat Metivier and made it 3-0 for the Beavers.
