Sudbury Cubs 2021-22 Captain Kyler Campbell has signed with the Albertus Magnus Flacons of the NCAA Division 3. The 21-year-old Huntsville native packs his bags and sets his sights on brighter horizons in the NCAA.

“Kyler had an outstanding season as our leading scorer and captain.  Despite all of the obstacles that we faced this year, Kyler persevered and led by example.  We are very pleased to see Kyler advance his hockey career next season in the NCAA. “notes Managing Partner Blaine Smith.

Averaging over a point per game last season, Kyler brings his tremendous skill set & leadership abilities to a new team. He will be set to Fly High this season as he hits the ice as a Falcon & continues his studies in business management.

When asked about the city of Sudbury & the Cubs, Kyler Campbell had these closing thoughts; “Finishing my junior career with the Sudbury Cubs was very special. I can’t thank the fans, community, billets, management and coaches enough for all the support they’ve given me and the team. I loved living in Sudbury and being active in such a great community. I really enjoyed coming to a new team and making friendships that will last years beyond hockey. It was great to see this young Cubs team grow together during the season and compete in the playoffs. I look forward to following the progression of the Cubs and all of my teammates in the future.”

The Greater Sudbury Cubs would like to extend our warmest gratitude. Kyler’s ability to lead on and off the ice will be truly missed not only at the rink but in the community as-well. We would like to wish Kyler all the best as he embarks on his newest chapter in education and the game of hockey.
