CUBS HOST FRENCH RIVER RAPIDS THURSDAY NIGHT

The GREATER SUDBURY CUBS will look to extend their latest winning streak to eleven games when they play host to the FRENCH RIVER RAPIDS this Thursday night at 7:05 at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex. The Cubs will close-out the week with a road trip to Massey to play against the Elliot Lake Vikings on Friday night. The Cubs will be awarding one lucky fan with a pair of tickets to the “Taste of Sudbury Food & Drink Festival” at Thursday night’s game. The pair of Event tickets are valued at $150. Cubs’ fans will also be able to purchase tickets for this one-of-a-kind local food and beverage festival at Thursday’s game. All proceeds raised from the sale of tickets will go towards the Inner City Home, a local emergency food bank that provides helping hands to 1,500 isolated and vulnerable people each month!

CUBS MOVE UP TO #4 RANKED IN THE COUNTRY
The Cubs are now ranked #4 in CJHL National rankings heading into this week’s action. The Club’s ongoing national rankings are a reflection on the leadership provided by Cubs Head Coach Darryl Moxam and his coaching staff. Northern Hockey Academy continues to provide unique development benefits for Cubs players too. Cubs’ veteran defenceman, Mason Chitaroni is the Cubs Top Performer of the Week. The 20-year-old star recorded six points in two games last week and is the second-highest scoring defenceman in the NOJHL with 29 points in 26 games played.
