CUBS HOST SOO EAGLES THURSDAY NIGHT

The GREATER SUDBURY CUBS will host the SOO EAGLES on Thursday night at 7:05 at the Countryside Sports Complex. The Eagles are in 4th place in the league standings with 56 points while the Cubs hold-down first place with 72 points. The Eagles have a .500 record in their last 10 games with 5 wins and 5 losses while the Cubs have won eight of their last ten games played. The Soo Eagles line-up includes 16- year-old rookie defenceman Cole Wreggitt who was a 4th round selection of the Sudbury Wolves in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection last season. Wreggitt is tied for 9th place in rookie scoring in the NOJHL with Alexandre Valade of the Sudbury Cubs with 25 points each!

Thursday’s game will also feature BIANCO’S SUPERCENTRE NIGHT as one lucky Cubs fan will win a SAMSUNG BLUETOOTH TOWER SPEAKER valued at $500! Cubs fans will be asked to enter their name in the FREE draw upon arrival to the rink! Tickets are available at the door for only: $17 for Adults, $12 for Juniors/Seniors and $7 for children 12 years and under. Credit cards and debit cards are also accepted.

The Cubs magic number is ‘seven’ as any combination of Cubs wins or Hearst losses adding to ‘seven’ will result in the Cubs securing the 2025 NOJHL League regular season championship and securing home-ice advantage throughout the play-offs.

We will see you Thursday night at the Countryside Sports Complex as the #2 nationally-ranked Greater Sudbury Cubs host Michigan’s Soo Eagles for the final time this season!

Game time is 7:05.
