“Mateo is a high energy forward who will add depth and speed to our line-up” notes Cubs GM Dave Clancy. “We spoke to Mateo back in August about possibly playing for the Cubs this season and we are pleased that he has decided to return home and play for his hometown junior team.”
Signoretti is also recognized for his leadership skills and positive attitude at such a young age. “I am proud and honored to be a part of the Cubs team and organization” notes the young forward. “I’m looking forward to working with my fellow teammates on bringing a championship to Greater Sudbury.”
