WEST DIVISION CHAMPION CUBS OPEN NOJHL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES THURSDAY!
The GREATER SUDBURY CUBS will host the POWASSAN VOODOOS this Thursday and Friday night. Both play-off contests will be played at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex. Game time for both Cubs home games is 7:05 pm. The winner of the best-of-seven series will represent Northern Ontario at the CJHL Centennial Cup National Championships in Oakville, Ontario starting May 9th.
Admission tickets for the Championship series are now on sale and you can pre-order tickets through e-transfer by emailing: britt@ntaaa.ca or simply purchase your tickets at the door.
NOJHL Championship Series Play-off Tickets are only: $20 for Adults, $15 for Juniors & Seniors and $10 for Children (12 & under). Credit, debit and cash are also accepted at the door. There is plenty of free parking available at the Countryside Sports Complex as well.
The Cubs and our corporate sponsors will be giving away valuable prizes throughout the game so be sure to hold-onto your LUCKY numbered ticket stub as some of the prizes include:

EASTLINK STARS OF THE WEEK!
Congratulations to Cubs star forward NOLAN NEWTON and defenceman MASON CHITARONI for being named as the EASTLINK COMMUNITY TV STARS of the week!
Newton, 18, has played games for the OHL Barrie Colts this season and leads the Cubs in scoring in the play-offs with 9 goals, 7 assists for 16 points in 11 games played. Newton also leads the team in penalty minutes with 17. Chitaroni, 19, began the season with the OHL Sudbury Wolves and leads all defencemen play-off scoring with 11 assists in 11 play-off games. The veteran leader already has one NOJHL Championship under his belt as a former member of the Soo Thunderbirds in 2022.
