NOJHL announces Beavers – Cubs West Final schedule

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Monday the schedule for its West Division Final between the Blind River Beavers and Greater Sudbury Cubs.

Action in the best-of-seven affair will commence Thursday in a 7 p.m. start at the Blind River Community Centre.

The Beavers will also host Game 2, which is slated for Saturday, also at 7 p.m.

Heading to the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury for the next two match-ups, they will be held on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9, with a 7:05 game time for each contest.

It will then be back to Blind River for Game 5, if necessary, on Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m.

Should it be required, the Cubs will serve as the home side for a sixth meeting on Sunday, April 14 at 7:35 p.m.

If the series goes the distance, Game 7 will be held on Tuesday, April 16 with a 7 p.m. face-off at the Community Centre in Blind River.

The winner will meet either the Timmins Rock or Powassan Voodoos for the Copeland Cup – McNamara Trophy NOJHL championship.

Each league postseason game will be streamed live on FLOHockey.tv.
