SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced Tuesday that Brant Romaniuk (Timmins Rock); Bryan Fenlon (Soo Thunderbirds); Connor Dunham-Fox (Blind River Beavers) and Mason Walker (Greater Sudbury Cubs) have been named its Forward; Defenceman; Goaltender and Rookie of the Month, respectively, for September.
FORWARD – Brant Romaniuk, Timmins Rock: In his first six contests of the campaign, the 16-year-old Timmins product averaged two points-per-game in collecting a dozen in total, helping the Rock go 5-1.
Romaniuk went on to score a league-best eight times, including notching a game-winner, and chip in with four assists as part of five multi-point outings.
With his 12 points, he’ll enter the NOJHL Showcase tied for the overall scoring lead.

DEFENCEMAN – Bryan Fenlon, Soo Thunderbirds: Returning to his hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., the 20-year-old blueliner was solid on the back-end, while also racking up 10 points in six match-ups to pace the Thunderbirds in scoring.
In all, the T-Birds rearguard tallied twice and helped set-up eight others, featuring four assists on the power play.
With his point totals, Fenlon presently tops all league defencemen in offensive production.

GOALTENDER – Connor Dunham-Fox, Blind River Beavers: Sharing the league-lead in victories in September, Dunham-Fox won each of his three starts for the Beavers.
With a more than respectable .935 save percentage to commence his campaign, he finished with over 100 stops in 180 minutes of game action.
Hailing from Edmonton, Alta., the six-foot-four netminder has already matched the win total he had last season, in 16 appearances with Iroquois Falls.

ROOKIE – Mason Walker, (F) Greater Sudbury Cubs: As one of the youngest players in the league, Walker, who does not turn 16 until late November, provided an impressive run for the Cubs.
The Sudbury product registered 12 points on four goals and eights assists, while generating multiple highlight reel efforts along the way.
Walker’s contributions see him tied for the overall NOJHL scoring lead as well as also pacing all rookies.
