Rockland Nationals (CCHL) still tops in CJHL Top 20 rankings
TORONTO – On this National Day of Remembrance, the Canadian Junior Hockey League announced its latest Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade.
Remaining No. 1 in the 118-team CJHL this week are the Rockland Nationals (CCHL).
The front-runners in the Central Canada Hockey League, Rockland has reeled off a 16-1-1-0 record so far this season.
Tabbed at No 2 are the Edmundston Blizzard (MHL).
Topping the table in the Maritime Hockey League, Edmundston sports an 18-2-0-0 mark to date.
At No. 3 in the listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL).
Under head coach Chris Schmidt, the Storm sit in first place in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with 32 points, having gone 15-1-1-1 overall.
Slotted at No. 4 once again are the Leamington Flyers (OJHL).
Leamington leads the Ontario Junior Hockey League at 19-2-2-1, having gone unbeaten in their past 13, with 11 victories and two overtime ties.
Meanwhile, at No. 5, are the Greater Sudbury Cubs (NOJHL).
Playing .850 hockey in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, the Cubs enter play this week with a record of 16-2-1-1.
