Rockland Nationals (CCHL) take over as No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade

TORONTO – Winners of 12 consecutive contests, the Rockland Nationals (CCHL) have taken over as the No. 1 side in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, announced Monday.

Surging Rockland sport a solid 27-2-0-0 record and have opened up a comfortable 15-point lead in the overall Central Canada Hockey League standings under head coach Justin Pereira.

Tabbed at No. 2 in the 116-team CJHL are Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ).

Collège Français continues to top the table among the 13 clubs who comprise the Quebec AAA Junior Hockey League with a 28-2-0-0 mark to date.

Slotted No. 3 in the listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Niverville Nighthawks (MJHL).

The Nighthawks maintain their lead in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, having gone 26-2-1-0 so far this season.

Another group making serious inroads on the campaign are the No. 4 Toronto Patriots.

They have racked up nine straight triumphs in Ontario Junior Hockey League play, improving their slate to 30-6-0-0.

Wrapping up the Top 5 is another LHJAAAQ squad, the Panthères de St-Jérôme.

They are a crisp 23-5-0-0 on the year.
